Avy and Co was established in 2018, with the aim of collaborating with Artisans globally across a range of disciplines, to create a small and carefully curated body of work that exudes quality, pride and skill in handcrafted objects.

We collaborate with independent Artisans and small family run businesses who employ the same slow-fashion, no waste, full circle ideology. We place the utmost value on ethical and sustainable practices, choosing to use only natural raw materials and producing in small numbers to minimise waste. We create pieces that last a lifetime, and advocate thoughtful, and conscious consumption. We reject mass factory production, and return the work back into the hands of skilled craftsmen and women.

In collaboration, we create everyday pieces. Relaxed, comfortable, soft and sensuous, that are imbued with an understated elegance. Designed to be timeless and seasonless; worn day through night, season to season, and year upon year.

All of our garments are made with natural fibres, pure linens, silk, and soft cotton gauze. They are designed for comfortable wearing, one size and oversized. They are French seamed, with a focus on quality and longevity. We wash our final garments so that they arrive soft to touch and ready to wear.

Our bags are a combination of pure thick linen, and soft leather, designed to be androgynous, and strong for daily use. They can be machine washed, and will last decades.

Our jewellery is designed with undulating organic forms, echoing the character of archaic bronze jewellery. Each piece is individually forged with hammer and flame, each slightly different with its own unique personality. We use the highest quality nickel free bronze, which is presented with a polished finish.

We believe in the soulful power of thoughtful hands. That quality belongs with the intention and the attention with each piece created.
